Ken and Val Newell

Steve and Martin, what a joy to read the thrust of your message in Terra Nova Community Church. How fresh, relevant and hope-filled. How much you have to say, and how much you listen carefully to others. The poem was so insightful and tender about where we are in Northern Ireland, especially the phrase 'The unspoken seems to carry the headlnes'.

May many such opportunities continue to open up for your shared and creative ministry both in NI and other places 'where the questions of the future are left in a heap in order to make sense of the past'.

Val and I are proud of you both and so thankful to God for the gift of your friendship and the blessing of your energising faith. We hear the stains of a familiar Galilean accent in your words of hope and challenge..
