Tomorrow morning (11am) we will be right in the heart of Jesus passion. As Easter week begins we look ahead and find ourselves in the chaos of Judas, Pilate, the Religious leaders, the others on crosses... and in the midst of the violence, the power and the greed, another kind of humanity... Jesus changing everything. We will seek the help of Chris Fry who will sing an original song, Eugene Peterson as he chats to Bono about violence and crosses and Leonard Cohen will throw in his tuppence worth. We will gather around the sacrament that remembers these events and will be led in worship with a little classical voila and piano.
In the evening (7pm) we finish our Lenten series on Rowan Williams insightful and challenging book Being Disciples. This has been a wonderful series of teaching and sharing. You don't need to have been to the others to engage with this last one.
On Good Friday at 7.30 we will have an informal communion in our Welcome Area. We will be looking at our brokenness and Christ's brokenness as we break bread together... expect a few songs live and in reflection.
